Dwight Yoakam -- 3 Pears 

 3 Pears is Dwight's first release since '07 when he put out a compilation of Buck Owens covers called Dwight Sings Buck, and his first release of original material since '05's Blame The Vain. 3 Pears is a solid effort, and worth the wait. Apparently, it began a couple years back with Dwight doing three songs with Beck. Odd pairing (or "pear-ing"), but I like it! 

Band Of Horses -- Mirage Rock 
Mirage Rock is maybe a tad bland for a Band Of Horses release, but it's definitely enjoyable enough to be worth the purchase
