Print Perfect

Happy May 1st - where did the first 4 months of the year go?!
I've lived in Athens for over 4 years now, and I love this little city that supports small businesses, has incredible food (how many tiny southern towns can boast a Top Chef Master & James Beard winner, Food & Wine Best Chef: Southeast, and Top Chef contestant?), multiple music options every night, and insanely talented artists living next door:
Last fall, Mr. Fonty's parents bought a house in a historic district in Athens, and their neighbor is Hable Construction's Susan Hable Smith. To say I love her textile designs is an understatement. With such amazing prints, you know her house has to have the pizzazz to match. Elle Decor agreed with me, and in this month's issue, those of us not living across the street, get a peak inside. Susan shares details on the extensive renovation of their historic home and how she pairs all those fabulous prints.

Inside the studio -- Swoon... I could be creative in here.

As a print and color lover, this house is a dream come true. Off to shop for some Hable for my own house.
