Tunesday with George: Guy Clark

Guy Clark is one of my all time favorite songwriters, and his voice is one of those that melts you every time. Guy has made Nashville his home for quite a while now, but originally he cut his teeth as a vital part of the early 70's Houston folk scene that gave rise to Jerry Jeff Walker, Townes Van Zandt, and Steve Earle. After battling cancer and other ailments for a number of years, it's remarkable that he is able to put out a live album of such quality at this stage in his life. Songs And Stories showcases Guy's storytelling ability alongside most of his best songs, which he and his band knock out of the park.
