I featured Death and Texas' (or DNTX) bicycle bag a while back. The designer behind DNTX aims to put a ladylike, modern spin on masculine classics. I love the classic, practical design of the bags. She's expanded to leather cuffs and belts which are all divine as well.

Turquoise Tumbleweed makes stylish, affordable throw pillows. I hate going into stores and seeing pillows for hundreds of dollars. These pillows are made out of vibrant designer fabrics - usually ikats and suzanis - all for around $50. What a steal.

I saw a post on High Street Market the other day about Jason LaFerrera's prints, and it was love.

His animal prints are made from old maps referencing the species' home territory. I love the idea of using these prints as rustic art in a cabin. It can be a nice change from all that taxidermy. The designs remind me a little of one of my mom's favorite children's authors/artists Eric Carle
They could also be nusery decor that isn't too cutesy.

When perusing LaFerrera's page, I stumbled upon Triple Studio. They make the cutest hand painted cards for about $6 each. Paired with an Ikea Ribba frame, you have inexpensive nursery decor.

Gems Of Etsy: Silhouette Blue

I am a huge Etsy lover. However, among all the unique, one of kind pieces I am convinced I can't live without, there is a lot of horrifyingly ugly merchandise. I've taken it upon myself to feature the gems of Etsy.

Our inaugural seller is the stationary site Silhouette Blue.

I ordered all my wedding stationary from this site (with 305 wedding invitations, I ordered a lot of thank you notes), and could not have been happier. The stationary arrives in cute ribbon tied boxes - a great idea for gift giving. All of the stationary colors can be customized. I matched my stationary to our wedding invitations. It was an inexpensive way to make everything feel custom. The delivery is remarkably fast too. Most of the sets are $25 for 16 cards+envelopes. Can't get much better than that!
